Training

A wise man once said that to get your pilot’s license it takes a lot of determination, grit and really deep pockets. He was kidding about the last one… kinda.

Why Do You Want To Learn How to Fly? Surprisingly enough, if you answered “I dunno, just ‘cause?” it’s an okay answer for us. You may not win any essay writing contests, but they don’t make you do that in an FAA examination, so it’s okay. All it really takes is the desire to become a pilot and “play among the stars” (thank you Frank for that line) and the rest will fall into place. Pretty simple. If you have experienced that indescribable feeling that you get when you look up at the sky and feel like you belong up there, then you have the bug. If not, then get on down here and hop in a plane. It’ll take one flight to get you to the point of no return. If you need some reasons to get you thinking why you should learn how to fly in, here are some ideas…

Training Programs

For Fun. Not that it’s a reason that will stand up in court, but shoot, it is fun. People pay for entertainment (um, hello, Las Vegas) so why not use flying as a form of entertainment and enjoyment in your life. Everything is a lot closer in a plane, so hop in and take a trip to a resort in Vegas, a spa in Arizona, a ski trip in Tahoe, a fishing trip to Mexico, … you name it, you can go there!

Become a Commercial Pilot. Imagine going to work and not staring into a cubicle corner, but rather from 30,000 feet above the ground sailing through the clouds and sunshine. It will get expensive trying to get a view like this by booking an airline flight every day, so why not make it a career. Coast Flight Training can help you do that, since you might want to have your pilot’s license when you apply. And there’s no better place to start, and finish, your training than in our San Diego Flight School, as we will customize your flight training to your wants and needs and get you the best for your hard-earned dollar.

Business. Do you, or someone you know, own a business? Imagine how you can expand with the convenience of a private flight. Need to get somewhere in a jiffy? Don’t bother driving (with gas prices the way they are), or flying commercial (gas prices, again, making ticket prices go up, fees for checking bags, waiting through security, la, la, la), hop into a private plane and have an enjoyable trip. With our Cirrus training and Cessna training programs that will help you learn how to fly a private plane, there will be no security lines, no baggage fees, no rude passengers, just you and the sweet smell of time and money saved.

Impressing Someone Special. Take it from me, I asked my wife to marry me in a private plane overlooking a beach that had “Marry Me Kathy” written in the sand. It works. She said yes (and I am sure it was because of the plane, not the ring). Okay, there are a few reasons to get you started. If you need any more convincing, just come on down for an intro flight. It’ll be all you need to sell your soul and give it to be in the air.

Coast is a great place to start. Keep in mind that we don’t produce tons of pilots overnight. Our San Diego flight school takes a personalized and serious approach to each individual since no two people learn the same way. We will do all we can to customize the flight training program so you get the most of out of your instruction (so you pockets don’t have to be tooooooo deep).

Tailwinds always (except for landing and takeoff),
